Information Security Risk Analyst (Full/Part Time)

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking an Information Security Risk Analyst to join our security services team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for continued development of the information security program and will consult with community banks regarding information security risk assessment, policy development, documentation and business continuity planning.  Depending upon skill set, candidate may also conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and audit services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors FFIEC, FDIC, FRB, NCUA, OCC, OTS and NIST guidelines for GBLA information security standards applicable to community banks.
• Develops information security program policies and template documents.
• Consults with information security officers, network administrators, business continuity coordinators and technology steering committees regarding all aspects of bank information security programs.
• Trains and consults with bank personnel to identify and assess information security risks and exposure and recommends appropriate security controls.
• Assists with developing and maintaining bank network documentation and business continuity plans.
• Aids with analyzing security incidents and conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and audit services.
• Manages multiple customer projects while exhibiting a passion for customer service.
• Provides pre-sales support and offers information security seminars
• Maintains one or more professional certifications in information security.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of IT and banking information security experience.

• In-depth knowledge and experience of GLBA compliance.

• Strong communication, project management and leadership skills.

• Some travel required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS PREFERRED:

• Bachelor of Science in information technology or business administration.
• Current certification(s) in the information security field.
• Experience as an information security officer, risk management officer, compliance officer, business continuity coordinator, or similar profession.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
